We don't really have titles around here on our team. We all work together. I guess I'm considered the. Happy Officer is what he said. So enjoy the show.

And just enjoy my time with Grant and we'll be bringing him back for more classes inside the Sugar Tribe. And so here is your intro, intro, introduction to grant and go. Happy Beauty.

[00:02:20] Grant, we're finally here. Yes, we've been talking about websites and tech and spray tanning. I know that's odd. You people are probably like spray tanning. What? Um, but we have been talking about all things business for quite a few months now, and we. Finally had a chance to have you on the Sugar Show cuz you have been so busy helping people be successful that I finally found a space on your schedule to get you on the show and yeah, help our audience too.

[00:02:47] So welcome to the show.

[00:02:48] Grant Kantios: Yeah, thank you for having me. Thank you. And thanks to Kelly Callahan for connecting us as well. Yeah.

[00:02:53] Shannon O'Brien: Kelly Callahan, if those of you do not know and you live under a rock, uh, she is [00:03:00] a forced to record with and we just did a podcast on her show. She's a beauty boss, babe. And we, um, And we have interviewed her for the show for spray tanning.

[00:03:10] And as you know, spray tanning and sugar goes hand in hand because we love to have some smooth brown sugared skin. So it's a, it's a great add on. And if you have not listened to that podcast episode audience, then uh, we'll link that below because we do talk about adding spray tanning. But how does grant websites and spray tann.

[00:03:31] Come together as one. Yeah. So, uh, so let's talk about this for a minute. Like, how the heck did you get into this business? Because I know you're not sugaring. Yeah. I know that you are not someone who, you know, spray tans people for a living. Let's take us back, grant. How did this all begin?

[00:03:51] Grant Kantios: Yeah, definitely.

[00:03:52] Well, I have to thank my good friend Mike Choli, who's right there near you in the Rose Roseville Rocklin, um, Northern California [00:04:00] area for him. And I have been friends for, gosh, probably almost 20 years at this point, and he was starting a sunless tanning solution brand. His family's in beauty manufacturing for decades.

[00:04:12] So they started a brand, and I remember vividly remember I was actually in college, I think it was like 2007, uh, and he told me about it, and I was like, that's great for you, man. I don't, I don't even know what that is. I don't care. I don't know why you're telling me this. Fast forward three years. I had graduated and I was working in a corporate job and really didn't like it.

[00:04:30] And he's like, Hey, this tanning thing's really taken off. Um, he was running another business, uh, uh, at the time, like doing both of them. Uh, so he is like, come out here, uh, spend some time with me and the family, see if you like it. And I went out there, visited twice and next thing I knew, may of, uh, 2011, packed my car up, drove from North Carolina to California with my dad, um, with as much stuff as I could take.

[00:04:52] And that kind of got me into the industry. So I worked there for about four years. Uh, had some wonderful times helping kind of grow that business. I mean, that was [00:05:00] the early days starting in the garage, selling stuff. Now they're one of the biggest brands in the industry, you know, years and years later.

[00:05:06] But that's how I got my feet wet in the industry and, uh, have been involved ever since then.

[00:05:12] Shannon O'Brien: On a side note, I love that Chale product, and I love that I finally know how to say it because S J O L I E was really a struggle for me in the very beginning. I was like, Jolie, I don't get it. And now I'm like, oh yeah,

[00:05:26] Grant Kantios: Shelly.

[00:05:27] Yeah. Most people used to call it S Jolie because the first logo Mike had made was a Big S, and all the rests was small, so people were like like it was some fancy thing and it worked out. It's really his last name.

[00:05:39] Shannon O'Brien: It's her last. Yep. Yeah, that's awesome. Worked, done. Awesome. So, so you're in the corporate side of the spray tan world.

[00:05:46] You're not physically holding a gun to

[00:05:49] Grant Kantios: naked. No, not, not corporate spray tan, just corporate period. Nothing to do with tanning or anything at all.

[00:05:54] Shannon O'Brien: No, but when you got to Ja, you weren't Oh yeah, yeah. Like sprayed people. You were on the corporate side, right?

[00:05:59] Grant Kantios: Yeah, right. [00:06:00] We, uh, when I started, we did everything.

[00:06:01] There was just handful. We were packing orders, Antrim phones, doing everything we could. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:06:06] Shannon O'Brien: Okay. So then it starts to grow. Mm-hmm. It starts to get bigger. You're a part of that mm-hmm. Small business startup thing. Yeah. And then what got you into doing what you're doing now and explain to everyone kind of that next step

[00:06:19] Grant Kantios: for you.

[00:06:21] Yeah. So we, um, I, I kind of, uh, kind of had a. Background in websites and the fact that I enjoyed, you know, learning how the code had worked and all that stuff back in the day, um, bef way before that. Um, and in fact, Mike had a background in it as well. He was really good. Had a, had a company that actually did it, um, and left that, uh, part of the business.

[00:06:41] And then, but when we got into show Lee, like that was one of the ways that they grew and we grew was people found, found them online. Um, I helped with part of that. It kind of got me into that space. Uh, then, you know, Mike and I were all, and all of us were always looking for other ways to help the client.

[00:06:56] So we said, Hey, these people were buying from us. We can do [00:07:00] something to help them. Let's, you know, we'll set 'em up a website, they can get found online. We knew how to do that. It was a lot different and easier back then. So we basically said, if you're a loyal client, only use our brand. We'll set up a website.

[00:07:11] It's basically, the cost is negligible at that. So we did that, which was great. And then when I decided to, uh, take a step back when I decided to leave, uh, I was, uh, the company, I just kinda outgrew the position. I decided to see how could I continue to help these people. Mike didn't wanna support that any longer.

[00:07:28] It was kind of something I did to help. Um, and at that point I had already started doing websites on the side and doing all these projects for her friends and stuff like that. Um, so then I said, you know, this is perfect. These people need help. Um, I'd seen some other people do it successfully. So in other markets, I said, this, this should work.

[00:07:44] So I decided that I wanted to help out the Sunless community, specifically with the knowledge that I had in SEO and websites. So that's where Happy Tans was born. Um, we started a podcast and a website builder at the same time, 20 15, 20 16, they actually launched. [00:08:00] Um, and since then we've helped hundreds, thousands of people.

[00:08:03] We've, you know, over a hundred something episodes, 120,000 plus listens later, and we're still chucking along. So that's where we are. I love

[00:08:11] Shannon O'Brien: it. I love it. So you're getting, yeah, you're really taking their tanning business to the next level. Mm. And, and really, Just helping them, not just buy product and spray people, but really be a success,

[00:08:25] Grant Kantios: which is awesome.

[00:08:25] Yeah. Yeah. And I mean, I learned that being on the phones at Cho, I talked to certainly thousands of people. I made some good friends, people I still talk to, to this day, honestly, you know, 10 plus years later, just as friends. Uh, but I mean, during that process, you know, we, uh, produced the product, sold the product, sold the kits, people got started.

[00:08:43] They're so excited they get started. Then, you know, two weeks later, four weeks later, two months later, I can't get enough people in the door. This isn't a, you know, legitimate business, whatever the problem is. And I was just like, these people need help with the business side of things. So the podcast launched to share people's stories about how they got to [00:09:00] where they were, what tactics they used, marketing, what brought the clients in the door.

[00:09:03] Then the website just kind of went hand in hand to say, Hey, they need an online presence. People are going to Google to find them. These people, a, don't have a website, or B, are creating something that's never found. So let me leverage all this, put it all together and help them actually build a business, which is, you know, Super challenging for anybody that's ever done it.

[00:09:20] So yeah, that was our focus.

[00:09:21] Shannon O'Brien: Yeah. All right. I'm gonna ask you, uh, some, some solid questions here. Sure. About the bids. Okay. And, you know, you know what you're doing is really helping the beauty industry. Dial in their websites. Mm-hmm. What's interesting about that and the way that I'm, the way that I'm queuing this up for you is that the landscape has really changed.

[00:09:51] And in the beginning we would, you know, estheticians don't know much about tech. And so we would get somebody to build us a little templated, you know, website [00:10:00] and it looked like a brochure and it would have our pricing and our hours and you know, our mission statement. And that was about it. And everybody had to have a website, you know, you gotta have a website, right?

[00:10:10] And then it shifted to. Oh, you have to be, have an online presence. You have to have a Facebook page and then that shifted to, you have to have an Instagram page and then that shifted to, you have to be on TikTok and then that shifted to, you have to be on Snapchat or whatever the thing is at the, you know, at the moment.

[00:10:26] Yeah. So what I started learning from my audience is I was listening to some of these kids and I say Kids, cuz these are the ones like Fresh Outta School that were like, oh, I don't need a website. I'll just get a Facebook page. That's. And that I can set up right now, or I'll just, you know, I'll just have my, and then Facebook became for old people, apparently, I've been told.

[00:10:48] Yes. So Instagram is for, you know, anyone that's, Dare I say hip. So anyone that's like in the know they have an Instagram. Well, what's your Instagram? What's your Instagram? What's your [00:11:00] Instagram? Great. So now these people have an Instagram. And then, okay, well then that became, well check link, bio, check the link in bio, and that took you to the website.

[00:11:08] And then that changed to, oh, you have to have a link tree. And Link Tre was just that thing that kind of put it all together. Do I really need a website? You know, so these, they're doing these mental gymnastics as they're trying to build their business. Sure. So I queued that up to, let's talk about now.

[00:11:27] Mm-hmm. What is, what is critical in the beauty industry? To have right now to get the best return on your investment. What is that kind of secret sauce? What do you think? Take,

[00:11:43] Grant Kantios: yeah, thank you. No pressure right now.

[00:11:46] Shannon O'Brien: Yeah, no pressure. What's special? It's gonna change next week, but what is it now? Yeah,

[00:11:51] Grant Kantios: yeah, definitely.

[00:11:52] So I think, you know, as things have evolved and changed, there's been a, there's been some constants obviously. In, in our eyes [00:12:00] at least, having a website as still as important as, as what it was even before the social media presence. Um, all these different platforms grew and, and I get it as, as somebody that's starting out or runs a business, you have so many hats to wear already.

[00:12:12] Now you have more hats to wear. Think of all the platforms you have to be on, schedulings, all this kind of stuff. So for me, and the best way that I explain to people for the website, The online hub for everything, right? So people might use a link tree as that kind of sorts, like go to our link tree, there's all the links, right?

[00:12:29] But the website allows you to, uh, and I always say control the narrative a little bit better and the fact that you can point people where you need them to go. If you need one page that sends people to book and give 'em directions, that's perfect. Typically, what we found working with beauty professionals is there's a lot more that you need, uh, on the website to.

[00:12:49] People comfortable enough to take that next step, which is typically to book an appointment or something like that. So you know, an about page with a picture, a little bit about yourself. They need to see some kind of, uh, clout, right? They need to see [00:13:00] social proof, reviews, et cetera. We wanna make sure all that's available.

[00:13:03] Obviously, if you have an Instagram and Facebook, you can link all that stuff, embed the feeds and all that. But the website really allows you to answer all those questions that people are finding elsewhere before they come to you. So most people are, you know, 70% of the way through the process of knowing they wanna schedule an appointment or reach out before they do so.

[00:13:20] And where do they do that research? Initially, hopefully on your website, not your competitor's website. So where do they find out about the services? Answer their FAQs. See about you pricing. You know what to do before the tan, after the tan, in this case, et cetera, hopefully on your website. So the website is that marketing hub to not only establish you as the expert and give you credibility, but hopefully also in addition to that, help you get found online through s e o or search engine optimization tactics.

[00:13:49] That allow you to be found at the top of the list when people are looking for your service near me. So there's a lot of things that it can do, but the website again, is just that home base where you can [00:14:00] control the look and the feel and push people down, whatever. If it's you need a text before you make an appointment, or you need to email us before you make an appointment, or you just need to schedule.

[00:14:09] You can control that when they come there, you know? Um, and people remembering, uh, a website URL or website addresses much easier than Instagram slash whatever my name is or, you know, anything like that. And again, those platforms could go down, go away, et cetera, that you don't own the content they do, uh, to some extent.

[00:14:26] So all that stuff is to keep in mind as well.

[00:14:29] Shannon O'Brien: Ah, that's an amazing point that I wanna make sure we say again, really, your website is your, It is the thing that is constant no matter what the latest trend is. No matter what platform is up, down, oh, Facebook's down. Oh, this is down. Oh, you know, people don't use Facebook, people don't use this, or they use that, or whatever it is.

[00:14:49] Yeah. Your home is your constant. Your treatment room is your constant. Your website is your constant. Mm-hmm. And obviously you have stories, you have reels. Oh, the latest thing is reels. The latest thing is [00:15:00] there'll be another thing in three months. Right? Yeah. Yeah. Those are the things that really work to market your business to a lot of people.

[00:15:07] Mm-hmm. Right? Mm-hmm. But that home is the constant. Your treatment room is the constant, your hands are the constant. Mm-hmm. So if you don't really think about that audience as that important piece that you absolutely have to have, To make sure that your home really is tight. Mm-hmm. No matter how you approach it.

[00:15:29] You know, business cards, trade show, you know, whatever you do to get people in the house is awesome and that's always gonna change. But your home has gotta stay constant and really gotta be on brand. Yeah. So,

[00:15:42] Grant Kantios: yeah, and I can't help to, and I'm this, this story, I, I was just thinking, I don't remember the name exactly and I think the last time I saw this was just a couple weeks ago, like a truck for a painting, co residential painting company or something.

[00:15:52] And they don't have a website address. It literally says facebook.com/ grant's painting company or something like that. I'm like, who's gonna [00:16:00] actually remember that versus, you know, grants painting company.com or whatever it is. Right. It's like, But I, I don't know, sometimes you're curious what people are thinking when they don't, maybe they don't know the technology exists, but there's enough opportunities out there now to hopefully create it.

[00:16:12] And like you said, that's the constant, that is, that R URL or website hopefully is there for as long as your business is. Right. People will always remember

[00:16:19] Shannon O'Brien: that. Sure. You know, if there'll be another platform that comes up, right. Like of course Instagram equivalent or you know, it's coming around the corner, right?

[00:16:26] Yeah. Yeah. And if you've always been, I'll use mine. Love to Sugar at, love to Sugar. Right. If a new, if a new platform comes on and that's taken. Now you've gotta say, well, on this platform, I'm a love to sugar too on that platform. I'm love to sugar, sugar on that platform. I'm Shannon. Love to sugar like underscore dla.

[00:16:49] You know, whatever the all you have to do is say, oh, we're love sugar.com. We always are. We always will be no matter what way we point dance caption, real audio [00:17:00] story ourselves. You know, I mean, God, that's not at all, those weren't even terms in our vernacular back in the day, like reels and stories, you know, like, and it's just no matter what happens and no matter what the thing is of the day mm-hmm.

[00:17:16] It'll always be love to sugar.com. Yeah. Always. Something easy to know. Definitely. Yeah. So I, I love that you're really kind of, and I think if you're walking the dog right now or you're, you know, you're listening to this podcast while you're cleaning your treatment room and you're like, oh my God, seriously, my brain hurts thinking about all of this.

[00:17:35] Like, a lot of estheticians are like that. Yeah. We are not techy. Some of us might be really good at it. We might be really good at taking, you know, a video of us sugaring and putting music to it and a caption on it. Mm-hmm. And putting it on TikTok. We might be. Like able, but the time that it takes and all of that, like it starts to make us get like anxiety, you know?

[00:17:57] Like Yeah. Especially introverts. A lot of estheticians [00:18:00] are introverts, and so the thought of like having to put yourself out there and dance and sing and do all of those things, like makes us like Yeah. Yeah. You know, twisty, right? Yeah. But your website really can be that thing. Is just your consistent is that thing that is you and you're about Paige and you're, you know, it really gets to the point, you know.

[00:18:24] And

[00:18:24] Grant Kantios: I like, and I try to sell people on the, um, not sell people on, but just educate them on the credibility factor of just having a professional website and what that means. If mm-hmm somebody's going to compare three different companies and subconsciously, even if you don't mean to, you automatically are judging these brands based on the interactions with them across all platforms.

[00:18:43] So if they have a wonderful. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, whatever it is. And then you go to this website and it looks like it was thrown together by, you know, a bunch by team, you know, whatever. By their kid. Yeah, by their kid. It's like, what? This isn't consistent with what I saw, but, and most people that are in the beauty industry want that [00:19:00] certain feel when they interact with their brand.

[00:19:01] This kind of elevated, like it's a, it's a, it. Uh, service, you know, that's, that's nice and people get to kind of relax and have a good time, whatever it look, whatever that is. But mm-hmm. Your website should represent that brand. So credibility is a huge point. Um, and, and being able to sell yourself for what you're worth if you wanna go down that, uh, path as well.

[00:19:18] Just different ways to do that. And, and I'll take a step back and talk a little bit about the link tree thing, and something we built in to the sites is having that just a page on your website that is the quote unquote links page. And having all those links there so that when you're driving people somewhere, you're not driving them to some random link tree, uh, website page.

[00:19:38] You're driving them to your website, which gives you traffic. And then at that point they're on your home base and you can point them in whatever direction you want to take them.

[00:19:47] Shannon O'Brien: So if you're curious what this looks like, nice friends, uh, you can take a look at mine. I'm gonna link it in the show notes.

[00:19:53] Yeah. Cause Grant took my. Very limited website. I'm not [00:20:00] talking about that too, but my very limited website. Yeah. And which is funny that that would be me cuz I'm like, you know, I do all things tech. Yep. That my website for Sugar Mama's Beauty Club was not so great. Sure. And so, so you can take a look at that and I will link that.

[00:20:18] I will expose myself on, uh, if you haven't already stopped it, um, I will, I'll put that in the show notes so you can see exactly what Grant and his team can do, um, because it really does help to have someone to help you out with this. Yeah. So I'm gonna confess, I'm raising my. I'm supposed that are listening.

[00:20:35] I'm raising my hand and I'm confessing that, and this is actually a really good thing that my website sucked. Mm-hmm. There's a sound bite for you. My website sucked. Mm-hmm. Because I threw up there something just to have. Just so that I had something, there was some pretty pictures on it and some basic things, and then I forgot about it [00:21:00] because I was so busy.

[00:21:02] Mm-hmm. So if you're wondering if sugar is a benefit to your skincare business, I'll say yes because it makes you two busy to do things like websites, no joke, like Yeah, when, when sugar. Beauty collab became like this big hit in my town. We weren't actually a collab, it was just me. Mm-hmm. And I went from, you know, kind of being part-time, doing some facials, kind of throwing in some sugar, and then I get better and better at sugar.

[00:21:29] All of a sudden I didn't have time to think about my website or whether it looked good. I mean, I think I even had an old picture of me on it and I was like, oh shoot, I probably should have done this. Right. Yeah. And uh, honestly, I didn't pay two bits of attention to my website because, I was just so busy doing She Enough time.

[00:21:48] Yeah. And so thank you Grant for pointing out that, um, I could improve,

[00:21:54] Grant Kantios: Hey, I didn't

[00:21:55] Shannon O'Brien: say anything. Um, let Shannon allow me to assist you with this. Um, [00:22:00] and you came highly recommended by Kelly Callahan. So I paid attention. You didn't sound like just another guy trying to sell me a website, right? Yeah. Like you really get what we're doing.

[00:22:09] Mm-hmm. And we were able to then make my website make more sense. Mm-hmm. And. That's of benefit because I do have, you know, four other estheticians now that are doing the sugaring and, and doing all of that. So it's not just me anymore. And so they do need, I do need to honor them with a good website, which we have done.

[00:22:27] And so, um, you can see it live in an action, um, when you go stock my page. There you go. Audience, feel free to stock away. Yeah. Um, because really it, I, I did need a better website. I.

[00:22:40] Grant Kantios: And, and it's, you know, so often to what you're saying, people are essentially doing something really quick just to check it off the list, right?

[00:22:47] Yeah. It's kind of one of those things you check off. Yeah. Business

[00:22:49] Shannon O'Brien: license check, website check, you know, and that's kinda, I'm, I'm admitting that's what I did and, uh, because I was really, you know, out. Hitting the, the pavement and people would come in. Sure. [00:23:00] And some people don't even see my website because they just, they started sugaring with me, sugaring with me.

[00:23:04] And then they're just hooked now. Mm-hmm. Um, and they just book before. Some people don't have any like social or website presence with like, interaction with me because they literally, they got sugared once and then before they even leave, they book their next three appointments. Right. And they don't even have to bother.

[00:23:19] Right. But then if they wanna go refer a friend, it's like, oh. Where was it? What, how do I get in touch with Shannon? I don't know. I just go get sugared and book my appointments with her, like, you know, and so now they, you know that I can say, we'll just send to the website. Mm-hmm. You know, where before I went was a little bit embarrassed by it, so now I'm not embarrassed by it.

[00:23:36] Thank you Grant. And uh, yes. And so now I can send it them. So how has, now that we have this tool, this website, that's our home, that's solid. What is different about what you do? Okay, so wait, wait, let's go back. Mm-hmm. So you're doing this for tanning people? Yes. People are getting websites with you.

[00:23:58] They're having this great [00:24:00] success. You're taking it off their plate. It's happy. tans.com. It's mm-hmm. Tanning, tanning, tanning, tanning, tan. Mm-hmm. Tanning, tanning, tanning, tanning. Kelly loves you. Kelly is like, okay. You need to, you know, help other people. Grant. Mm-hmm. Like, call Shannon. She can get this rolling.

[00:24:17] Yeah. Shannon will probably wanna help her audience. So you and I get together and I'm like, grant, I cannot tell these people, oh, you should contact Happy Tans. Cause they'll take them nuts. So how has this evolved now to be. The new branch, the new division, yeah. Of what it's

[00:24:37] Grant Kantios: you're doing. Yeah, definitely.

[00:24:38] So, uh, sticking with a theme, go, it'll be go happy beauty.com, but essentially, you know, it's kinda like the perfect storm of everything. Uh, you know, I have a mentor here locally that kind of is in a different, uh, industry, but similar path. And then when I, I would get, we would get questions every week, like they're doing tanning as, as an in addition to X, Y, and Z, whatever that [00:25:00] looks like.

[00:25:00] Nails so sugary, whatever it may be. Right. So, We say, yeah, of course we can do that. But it's confusing, right? Because it's just tan. So they're very confused by that. Um, at that point, you know, we knew what we did would work across other brands. We'd work with some lash artists that only did lashes and all these kind of things.

[00:25:16] So we're like, we need to expend to reach more people and to help more people ultimately, cuz if we don't help them, they're gonna go. Somewhere else. And I know that we can provide the best service possible. Um, and we believe in that and stand behind it. And we know we're doing right by the people. We work hard at what we do.

[00:25:31] We have a team dedicated to it. So I knew that we could help more people. So we wanted to connect with people like yourself to educate these people. If nothing else, we lead with education. If you decide to go a different route, that's perfectly fine. Just take what you learn and implement it however you want.

[00:25:45] If you wanna do it yourself, go for it. Um, we think it's better just. Pay a professional, uh, and to take care of it for you. But, you know, everybody can make their own decision. Um, but we want to educate people and help them get in the right direction. So that's why we're kind of [00:26:00] expanding to be more beauty services and hopefully we can encompass as many as we can.

[00:26:05] Yeah,

[00:26:05] Shannon O'Brien: because really it's about beauty, right? So whether people are happily tanning, happily sharing, happily, lashing, happily face, you know, skincare, like yeah. It's, it's really that, that similar mm. Niche that, you know, we do beauty. Yeah. And so I'd love that you expand your business. It's part of the story, it's part of the timeline, right?

[00:26:24] Yeah, I agree. You're this. Yeah, we're this, so you're go happy beauty.com and that will be linked in the show notes as well, my editor. Um, and we link those in the show notes as well. So find you. So talk about the experience of working with Go Happy Beauty now. So, Um, uh, well, I know about my experience, which was great, but really like, where it's not just, oh, give us your, you know, a few pictures in your pricing and we'll, you know, make you a pretty website.

[00:26:54] Like really it's about function. Mm-hmm. So talk about the, like now, 2023, what a [00:27:00] website has to have and why you're the guy.

[00:27:03] Grant Kantios: Yeah, sure. So, yeah. So yeah, no pressure at all. So when we first started, it was more of a, um, d i y thing that we did. So it was like people would sign up, we'd have the bones built, and they'd do it themselves.

[00:27:15] As it progressed, we found out that more people were just like, I don't want to do it at all. Like, can we just pay you? Um, so that's kind of where we've transitioned to At this point, it's more of a, like, we call it kinda like white glove concierge service where. You sign up, um, and give us the information that we need.

[00:27:31] So our project manager will give you literally a list of every single thing that we need from you. And we get as much as possible, but as little as possible, if that makes sense. Cuz we know everybody that owns a business is so busy that we want to get. As much as we need, but not too much. So we're looking at what, what ways can we streamline this?

[00:27:49] If we can do, if we can have pre-written FAQs, pre-written service pages for you, and we'll try to do all those kind of things, just to give you that basis, and then we'll get from you what we need. That's unique. Obviously [00:28:00] your brand logo about pictures, et cetera, pricing. We wanna get that from you. And, and what we do is not only build the site, but we've done the research, uh, on the SEO side to implement all that stuff on the website to help you get found, which is really how we kind of set ourselves apart from any of the other, you know, sign up and do it yourself.

[00:28:19] Builders as we have over, you know, the 10 plus years of experience in the SEO that we're able to leverage for everybody to take advantage of. So we have done all the research, know how all that works. We keep up with the algorithm and all the fun changes that Google makes and we're able to roll that out across the board for everybody so they're all able to benefit from it.

[00:28:36] So you kind of get all of that together versus like go pay somebody for a pretty website and then go find somebody for SEO that's gonna charge. Hundreds, if not thousands of dollars a month.

[00:28:46] Shannon O'Brien: So I literally wanna jump through this microphone and hug you right now. The fact that I don't have to, like, I, I can just take that off my plate.

[00:28:54] Yeah. And allow you all to. Just do it for me is amazing [00:29:00] because my hands are in sugar. If, if I'm not podcasting or teaching or you know, creating another online class, then you know, I'm sugaring people. Mm-hmm. I'm still in treatment room and I still want people to come to my brick and mortar and support my aesthetician.

[00:29:14] So that's a lot of work, let alone try to, you know, keep up with the latest algorithm. So yeah. Thank you for making it so easy for me. Sure. And expanding your offerings because, you know, That's what it's all about is mm-hmm. You know, making sure that everyone has helped and I just, yeah.

[00:29:30] Grant Kantios: Thank you for helping me.

[00:29:31] Yeah, of course. You're welcome. It's our

[00:29:34] Shannon O'Brien: pleasure. Oh my gosh, my gosh. So, Audience, uh, you know, when I find gems in this industry, when I find people that get it in this industry, I love to bring them to you. And Kelly brought you to me, grant. Mm-hmm. And now I'm able to share you with the sugar industry and, and the beauty industry in general because it is so refreshing to be around people who get it.

[00:29:57] Mm-hmm. And I consider you part of our tribe [00:30:00] and you who gets it. So thank you so much, um, of. And then, uh, you know, we'll just, we'll just, uh, I think it might be cool. Maybe we'll have you back on the show and we'll do some screen shares. Love to actually, maybe we'll do a class and we'll do some screen shares of like successful websites and you know, that would be kind of fun to do.

[00:30:21] Grant Kantios: Yeah, we'd love to. I'd love to.

[00:30:22] Shannon O'Brien: I like that. Yeah. So people can see you and not just hear your great voice. Cause you are, you know, you are easy on the eyes Grant. So, so if you're listening to this, you're like, oh, now I have to go see Grant. See what he's all about. So I like it. Look at he's flushing. I love it.

[00:30:38] Grant Kantios: Love it. I love to get, yeah, I'd be happy. Happy to help. However I can, people wanna send their websites over for us to review whatever we can do. Uh, I love doing those kind of live things and tear downs and feedback, et cetera. We'd love to help the community however we can. Ooh.

[00:30:51] Shannon O'Brien: Let's do that. Yeah. Hot seat.

[00:30:53] All. Yeah, hot seat. Ok. We're gonna do that inside the Sugar Tribe. So if you have not joined the Sugar Tribe yet, then you absolutely should [00:31:00] be in it. And Grant, let's do a class. I love it all. We're gonna talk about that after the show. Alright, so sugar, sugar, audience, beauty industry, happy beauty babes.

[00:31:11] I'm sure that you, uh, tune into next week's episode as well. And as always, have a fabulously sweet week. Grant is awesome. He is as genuine as they get, and his company really works hard to make sure that you have everything that you need. And I hope you enjoyed this episode of The Sugar Show and are really ready to take your business to the next level.

[00:31:34] And if you've been putting off having a website or maybe like me, your website was kind of lackluster and you need it to really be tightened up, a grants team is really all that. Enjoy your week, my sweet friends. I hope that you are really, really loving these episodes that we bring to you.
